It's Auto-matic: The 2011 DC Auto Show

I don't know anything about cars. When mine breaks down, I take it to my mechanic in Takoma Park, MD. If I suggest what I think is wrong, he just laughs at me.

But I had enjoyed photographing the 2009 Auto Show, and I needed a project, so when the opportunity arose, I took it.

For me, it's people, shapes and composition. Kind of like all my photography.

I'd like to give a big thank you to Donald Bullach and his compadres at White and Partners in Herndon, VA.

Technicals: Canon GII and Canon 5D, available light, Leitz mini- tripod

These are awesome! They would make good advertising for cars or for the auto show or whichever! I want a new car!

Haha, I love the one of the kid at the steering wheel. He is big pimpin'.

Did you catch anyone saying "Do you come with the car?" to the models?

I said to that kid, "Look at me like you own that car," and he said, "I will own it someday!" He seemed pretty confident.

And no one said that while I was in earshot, but all those women except the one in the last picture acted like they were pretty tired and pissed off. The last one was really sweet.
